I must have caught all your good plays. Seemed like you were lighting them up pretty good when I watched. I wasn't sure what the score was when everyone headed over to the east field following your game.

No shame in losing to the old man. I think the asslegs posted 52 in the final as well. Tim makes anyone look good.

Having fun is what it's all about in the end. Glad you enjoyed the season. You guys are a fun and classy group. Always a pleasure. Happy Holidays!

Well there is a HUGE difference between me throwing the ball and Lionel throwing the ball, so this really is a much different team than the Hyenas that won the championship. We did keep it close up to half time or so, but then my gun stopped working :( So did our defense against Tim "could you please stop scoring" Shea. It was alot of fun though :)

Hey that's great to see you guys could finish it off. Looked like quite a semi-final, although the AssLegs as theirwives now call them, prevailed it looked pretty close.

Hyenas 2 represented themselves well, and certainly proved they were defending Champions!

Turns out we'll be able to finish the game. We've been offered a 15 min grace period to finish our thing up. Can't play the finals if we get there, but I'm thinkin my chances of outgunnin the Legendary Tim Shea are about as good as an ant kickin a lions ass.

Unfortunately we're not going to be able to finish our game vs Ass Legends tonight :( Our team won in the other league last night so there is conflict. We will play the first half though.

Like I noted, we'll go with a modification of the the above posted flag rules. Those were taken off /from a different league/website. We would play with the same touch rules, only the tag would be grabbing the flag. In theory it would give the offense a little more advantage, and even more scoring? Yahoo!

Games are 1 hour in length. Refs in this league give you the entire hour. We cleaned up the reffing integrity this season. (On occassion, should a "blowout" occur and one of the teams requests a shorter game, time may be shortened, as requested.)

I think info to many questions is on the home page. But each team gets 5 league games, unless you register in the 10 game divison (New for 09, or 3 on 3)

You may play exhibition games. Dome rental without refs is @ $175.00/hr.

The champ, do you clearly not see the point I'm trying to raise. I've admitted we are not the perfect team. We do trashtalk at times and all the stuff we've been talking about on the forum. But you guys believe your team is PERFECT, and its simply NOT! It's not.. and your showboating and stuff shows the lack of class you guys had. At times yes, we showed a lack of class, but were younger and even we can admit it. You guys just can't admit that.

And if we play you again, we'll know what were up for, and it will be a good game. Don't think its an easy ride from here on in.

Hmmm... Div 1 and Div 2.

Depending on how many teams we get, the 4 playoff teams automatically are in 1 and then whoever else thinks they can compete can request to enter until the two divisions are equal (or as close to as possible).

That would be my suggestion.

Ideally we'll have more than one division. There were two more teams that wanted to enter, past the deadline. I wasn't sure how many hours we needed, and had already turned back some timeslots. Hence, to add them would have made a mess of the schedule.

However, should they have entered, and looking at some of the scores, it might be more fair /competitive, with divisions. I think it should be considered.

Once registrations are in, we could determine,a bit more easily which way to go.
That would be my observation. However, you, have "waterered the seed" and I agree!

What could be the divisional breakdown? Any suggestions?

hey, my name is kevin, there are 2 of us looking for a team to play on for the winter season. we have both played second and third seasons in the WTFL and just cant wait another 6 months to play again. i can mainly play corner, deep safety, and receiver. tyrone can basacly play any posistion on defence, mainly has played rusher or inside safety, and receiver, our team also managed to make it to the division championship game. we both have good hands, and speed since we mostly play defence. we have positive attitudes (but still hate to lose). hope to play soon!

Huh?

I have never seen teams hard pressed.

I have always instructed every single team rep to be ready to play the first weekend. That's why the season says "starting January 25th" I don't know how more clear it can be stated.

If you register to play, be ready to do so. Obviously not everyone can play, that first weekend, but you should be plannin to do so. If ya play the next two, then so be it. Ya have a few more weeks off.

If ya need time to round up the boys, ask for the first week, or whatever off.

As the season stands now, due to demand, we have moved up a week earlier, and are on the verge of going a week later. There ain't a lot of options.

Hence my proposal, to build that dome over the stadium, with "entertainment tax" dollars if need be.

Other than that, if we can round up 18 guys with 100 grand to invest, we could have our own little facility. Who's in?

I don't know about every team, but it seems like many teams are hard pressed for players in the first week of each session because we don't know the schedule until a few days before the season starts. Thus,it makes it difficult to make sure guys have enough time to make arrangements to have a clear schedule.

I don't have a problem with the schedule making or the deadline!!! Why the concern. Last year we started the same, but that was the first time we started this early. As it was we did the tourney this first week last year.

As a suggestion for registration during the fall and winter leagues, how about a deadline of one week earlier than currently used. I assume having two weeks before the season starts would make the scheduling easier (as you would have more time), and it would also give players and refs extra time to make sure they do not have any other commitments.
